Edward beamed. His marvelous idea gave him new hope, and it made him feel even better that Rosalie thought his idea was great, too.
“Yes, maybe it’s best not to tell anyone. I don’t think Emmett would be able to keep his mouth shut, anyway,” he said, grinning.
Alice? Oh, yes, he had almost forgot about her accurate visions… If she was looking for Rosalie’s or Edward’s futures - most likely not, she would probably be looking out for Bella and Renesmee - then she would know of their plans, and most likely tell them not to pry.
“Yes, indeed. Alice may be problem… If she’s looking for either of our futures, she’ll see our plan. But, she can’t see the werewolves, so she wouldn’t know who we were talking to.” Edward grinned wider, pleased with how their plans seemed to be smoothing out. “If we don’t say a word, we may be able to do this without anyone prying on our plans.”

Rosalie smiled a little at what her brother said, she loved her husband. More than anything in the world, but sometimes he had issues with keeping secrets. It wasnt that he TRIED ruining them, it was just that he constantly let things slip. She thought about Alice, of course the little pixie would know of their plan. It was just a matter of if she would keep it from Jasper. Jasper would be a great addition to this little mission, but knowing Alice she may not want him there.
" oh she'll find out. Theres almost no way around that. When you you want to do this? I think the sooner the better."
If anything was happening with the dogs then the quicker the cullens found out the better it would be. She still loathed the thought of her precious niece with that mongrel. It was ridiculous.

Edward scanned her head before she answered, and found no important or useful information; really just random facts. She was right - Jasper would be a good addition. He could sense the werewolves’ feelings, and if it came to a fight, he would be extremely helpful. But Rosalie had yet another point: Alice wouldn’t be too happy, if she found out.
“How about Friday? We ask the wolves for a meeting, and we meet… at the boundaries of our land?” Edward suggested, standing up. He was glad Rosalie was helping him out - usually, she was self-centered, selfish. But, now, for some reason, she was being extremely helpful and caring. Maybe she pities me, he thought. Or she, too, just wants to know where Bella and Nessie had gone. He pursed his lips, pushing away such negative thoughts. Why could he never just say ‘Rosalie is helping because of the goodness in her heart’?
He noticed she was saying it was ridiculous for the “mongrel” - Jacob - to be with her niece, his daughter. Edward thoroughly approved of their relationship, although he didn’t exactly show it so much around everyone.
“Aw, Rose - the wolves aren’t that bad. Especially Jacob. I’ve become quite fond of him, surprisingly.”
