She was more then happy that she could drive now. It wasn't like they could all go with her fathers car. So yes the fact that she could drive did come in handy. She had her own car. So when she parked it she quickly got out. She might just have been a little bit upset. She and her mother had been bombarded whit questions when they came home. And she still was extremely careful with her thoughts around her father. But she didn't need it at school.
School always had been boring for her. She had grown up at a rate that was unnatural. Of course she wasn't the ordinary girl but still. Aging seventeen year in just six and a half may just be a little to fast. Or so others might think of it. She always had loved the fact, though now she was frozen at seventeen. She didn't mind that part all to much either. But she was smart, speaking after only a week was the start but school never had anything to offer to her. She felt sorry for her family members who had heard the same thing for years and years.
Of all her family members she might just have been the most normal. So when the teens of Forks high had questions they went to her. When they caught her alone that was. And they had today asking her the same question she had gotten way to many times. Where have you been. She didn't want to answer and she hadn't. She had walked away. It was the end of the school day anyway.
She walked inside the cottage. She had driven like a mad woman, when she was outside of forks. But she knew her family couldn't be that much behind her. She walked to her room and dropped her stuff, maybe a little carelessly for her normal being. Then she went back to the living room again and she had turned on the TV. maybe some music could calm her down a bit. She was all to annoyed and stressed. Still wondering what it all meant.

In all honesty, coming here probably wasn't the best idea Emma had had. But she'd needed a break from her life in Italy and, apart from the coven in Alaska, the Cullens were the only group of vampires that Emma knew didn't move around much. She could've asked Dimitri for the location of a vampire that was more... like her. But then again, wasn't that the second reason she'd headed this way?
She was running towards the Cullen's house before a different scent threw her off course. It was definitely vampire, but mixed with something a little less immortal. She followed the smell and ended up outside a little cottage. It looked friendly enough.
Not bothering to knock, she opened the unlocked door and into the main room, as silent as a ghost. She stood motionlessly in the doorway and watched the young girl watching what seemed to be a music channel. "So, you must be Renesmee..." She said after about two minutes.

Her family seemed to be far away. She just kept watching MTV. Music was well music she grew up with it. And she loved it. She played several instruments herself. Her father had learned her to play the piano when she was only a months old. Of course that really was different with her. When she was one year she looked like she was three years. Her hand flew to the necklace that she always wore. the one she got from her mother. She loved it and now she spoke french she loved it even more.
She let her hand down again and looked at her bracelet. Same year and that to she rarely took off. She simply like it to much, and again as with the necklace she liked it more when she got the meaning. Witch she got pretty quick. She sighed and both of her hands fell on the couch. Then she heard something. It wasn't her family though. It was something else. Maybe it was a passing nomad one of her friends, or rather her families friends. She decided to look at the tv again.
Then she heard the door, or rather the footsteps on the floor. And the scent that came in wasn't one of her family. She worried there for a second. She kept on watching MTV debating if she should act or not. She knew that the intruder was there. And from the first time they got her right. "Nessie." She corrected. She never actually got what her mother used to have against the nickname. She loved it. She looked at her. And she knew who it was. "I never forget a face." she announced. "What are you doing here?" Not at all the family friend she was hoping it would be. A member of the Volturi for crying out loud.

Emma smiled at the girl. "Nessie," she corrected herself. Moving from the door, she walked into the room where Nessie was sitting, the TV was still on.
"Then you'll know that I'm one of the good ones." She replied, flashing another smile at the girl. She sat on the arm of the chair and positioned herself so she was looking at Nessie.
"I owe you an apology," Emma started, getting comfortable. "But you'll have to wait for it. All you need to know is that I'm not here for you. No-one actually knows I'm here, and if word of this gets to the Volturri, then they'll come for me as well as you." Emma was hoping that she wouldn't tell anyone who talks to the Volturri, but as always she was always on guard to make sure of it...

She shut off the TV. She should keep her attention focused on this conversation rather then one or another bad rap video. She looked at the girl. Emma was her name. The good guys right a small laugh escaped her lips. "the first memory of the Volturi is them comming to this place wanting to kill me and put my parents and aunt in the guard, it escapes me how you are the good guys. We'll leave out our second encounter right ?"She might just have been a little bit sarcastic.
She listened to the girl. She did own her one, glad she knew and she could wait. She had all her life, witch would be long, to wait for one. She was happy that she didn't came for her or her family. It did worry her a bit that no one, including the volturi knew that she was here. And that meant that her life now wasn't so safe as it was ten minutes ago. "I can shut up." be silent would have sounded better though.
"Why are you here." She still didn't know and there had to be a good reason why she was going to lie, again, to her family, this time including her mother, and Jacob. And that reason better be very very very good. And she couldn't think about it with her father around.

Emma's smile faded as Nessie started talking about her and the Volturi as one. "I never said that... I said that I was one of the good ones..." She repeated, adding emphasis to it being her alone.
"Nessie, you're not in trouble... Well, I don't think you are," Other members of the volturi had different idea's though, but there was no need to scare her right now... "As long as no-one from Italy knows that I'm here, you and your family will be fine." However, when she returned, she'd have a lot of explaining to do... That would be fun. Emma had thought about never returning, but knew that it would be useless... She'd be found, and then who knows what would happen.
Emma wasn't exactly sure how to answer the next question. "Well, I wanted to talk to Carlisle again, it's been ages since we last spoke." Surely that answer was sufficient. For now, anyways. [/blockquote]

This was strange. Emma still was a member of the volturi right? "you're no longer a member of them?" them sounded a lot better then the good ones. And they weren't exactly the good ones to her. It made some questions for her. No one could leave the volturi like that. Especially now that they where at way. Well everybody was, except for her family, but they more then anyone.
That was a good thing. She wasn't in trouble though she did recall several members of the volturi not agreeing with her to life. Maybe they had chanced their idea's. she seriously doubted it. " i told you. I'm not going to tell anyone. " She never liked saying the same thing twice.
She was a little surprised when she said that she had came for Carlisle. Then why was she here? "then you came to the wrong house. The wrong part of town actually." She said. She looked at the clock. "He should be at the hospital at the moment." it had made another question. "Then why didn't you go to the house or the hospital?" This after all was the home of her and her parents.

Emma sighed. "It's... complicated." She began. Oh how to explain this to a ten year old, even if she did look seventeen? Emma absentmindedly moved her hand up to her head and started playing with a bit of her blonde hair.
"Technically, I am still a part of the Volturi guard. But living with people like Aro and Jane can take it's toll. Just because I look nineteen, it doesn't mean I am," She shot a glance to Nessie. "You will be able to understand that." She said lightly. Growing up to the age of seventeen in six and a half years was definitely something. "I've been with them for many years. I was a vampire long before Carlisle was even born..." She explained, trying to put it into perspective. "To put it plainly... I'm old." She said, whilst catching a view of herself reflected in the window. She almost burst out laughing, as she saw a nineteen year old stare back at her... She definitely didn't look her real age. "And there's only so much a person can take of their scheming ways..." She went on, half speaking to herself.
"Unlike the others in Italy, I seem to have morals... Carlisle's visit all those years ago seems to have left a mark on me." She said, chuckling. "It seems as though I'm the odd one out in Volterra, Jane wasn't too happy the last time I spoke to her... Because of me." She sighed, was she saying too much?
"We were discussing you actually, you and the rest of the Cullens. To be honest, Jane really does not like you and your family, although I can't see why... You seem to have grown up nice enough..." She complimented, smiling as her hand fell back into her lap. "Jane think's I'm crazy..." Emma murmered, a little hurt by the truth in this. She lowered her head slightly.
However, her head shot back up when Nessie spoke again, chuckling to herself. She knew where the Cullen household was, but she didn't want to miss the chance of meeting little Nessie. But once again, Nessie's questions caught Emma short. "You're really quite inquisitive. It's a good thing to have." She said, and it was true. Nessie had managed to get a lot more than Emma had planned on giving. "I was headed to the Cullen's house, until I smelt your scent. It's quite unique I must say. It's one of the reasons I knew who you were," that, and of course what had happened in that clearing ten years ago. "and I didn't want to miss the chance of meeting you." She smiled warmly at the younger girl. "And as for the hospital, I'd think I'd need a little more control before I attempted to enter that place. I might be well mannered enough to be able to walk down the street without feeding, but all that blood..." She said, her eyes growing excited at the mention of blood. "I would definitely cause more casualties..." Emma concluded.

Complicated. If there was one person on the entire planet who understood that word it probably would be her. Her whole life had been complicated, she didn't mind it but it wasn't like she didn't want a normal peaceful life. She probably never would get one. She was just a little bit of a pessimist at that point. When she had said those words she also knew that she was going to be here for some time. She didn't mind but what if her family came home? what would they do and say?
So she still was a part of the volturi. Though she had said that she, nor her family was in any kind of danger if she didn't say anything she still didn't trust it. She couldn't help it but she let out one single laugh. Growing up at the most impossible rate and after wards only staying frozen on seventeen. yea she did understand. She had met some pretty old vampires, and yea the not aging part was a part of the day to day life. And she could understood that she was way older then her grand father was. She kept listening to Emma, Nessie had noticed that she was getting allot of info.
Morals? She had been thought to give people a chance, that did count for every mythical creature as well. She couldn't help her surprised look when Emma said that she had some morals. And that Carlisle's visit had made some sort of mark on her. If what she said was true then yea she could be the strangest vampire who lived in Italy. That would be the truth but then why didn't she leave?
The next thing did worry her. They where discussing her and her family. Possibly Jacob as well, Nessie counted him as a part of the family though she never had actually talked with them about it. She smiled lightly at her compliment, glad to see that not all volturi members thought that she was going to blow the big cover. She might just feel a little bit sorry for her. After all Emma was a part of the volturi, she didn't understand how they worked, and they where nothing like a family but still. It seemed sad.
"Thanks." She said and she grinned a bit. It was true the one thing people couldn't do was refuse her. At least not often. She had it since she was a small child it was both a good and a bad thing in her opinion. She might just be a little bit to spoiled. She nodded, she should have known that it was something like that. Of course her scent was unique, you'd have to do to South America to find anything like it. She left out the , and we wanted to kill you years ago. She didn't mind, no one wanted to be remembered about it. And if she wasn't like the Volturi then well she had the right to come here. She still didn't trusted her completely though. She laughed a little at the hospital idea, yea that wasn't the smartest thing to say. Though her father had claimed that they should have less to do now that her mother was a vampire. "That probably wasn't the smartest thing for me to say yea." she admitted.
